Dear Tumblr,
Why have you taken away the ability to upload inline images using the HTML and Markdown editors? No, switching modes using the post gear menu isn’t good enough if it mangles all of my existing markup. Stop.

Dear Tumblr,
Nice of you to only remember whether I’ve seen the new dashboard tour in a local cookie, so that I can see it every time I log on with a new device. I really do love clicking on a baby blue button labeled “Hey alright” over and over again before I can actually read anything.

Dear Ello,
If you can’t do monospaced text right, don’t do it at all.

Dear Tumblr,
Have you considered allowing more than one file in a theme? Because as it stands now, you’re basically forcing theme developers to inline several kilobytes of CSS and JavaScript for every page request. That’s a pretty jaw-droppingly stupid waste of bandwidth.
I mean, sure, it’s your bandwidth. You can do what you want with it.
I’m just saying, it’s pretty stupid.

Dear Tumblr,
Yes, yes, we all know you were acquired by Yahoo not too long ago. You don’t have to shove it in our faces by adding a “search the web” option to the dashboard. I thought that died in the nineties.
Come to think of it, Yahoo should be doing its best to avoid reminding us of things we thought died in the nineties.
